What is the Extended Outreach Ministry?

Volunteers send personal notes to new women members welcoming them to church and inviting them to scheduled women's activities. (This is a great opportunity to serve for those of you whose busy schedules do not leave much free time to commit to service outside your home or for those whose "plates are almost full.")

How much time is required?

Volunteers serve on a rotating basis. You will be assigned approximately one week each quarter.

On my scheduled week, how will I get the names of the new members and their addresses?

The Outreach Director will e-mail this information to you.

What supplies do I need and where do I get them?

The director will give you the following items when you become a volunteer: cards, a sample sheet of what to write in the cards, coupons (good for free admission to an upcoming lady's event) and stamped record postcards.

What are my duties?

• On your scheduled week, check your e-mail to get the names of the new members and their addresses.
• Send a card to each new lady member including a personal note welcoming her to our church (refer to sample sheet) and a coupon for free admission to a lady's event.
• Fill out a record postcard with information on each new member. At the end of the week, mail all record postcards to the director.
