What is the Sisters of Service Ministry?

Our purpose in existing is to demonstrate Christ’s love to those with needs by meeting those needs cheerfully. Our goal is to love others as Christ has commanded with acts of service designed to encourage and lift our sisters in Christ.

Provide acts of service including but not limited to the following:

• Meals   (for those not in a LifeGroup)
• Transportation   (Doctor appointments, church event, etc.)
• Personal Errands   (grocery, post office, bank, etc.)
• Emergency Child Care
• Services Donated by BHBC Members

Who can receive services?

Lady members of BHBC which may include their family members.

Method of Identifying Services/Making Contacts:

• The Prayer Room
• The Prayer Messenger
• The Church Office
• LifeGroup Leaders

Method of Advertising for Volunteers:

• Coffee Connections
• Church Bulletin
• Women's Ministry Website
• Women's Newsletter
• Announcement in LifeGroups

Method of Advertising for Donated Services:

• Same as used to recruit Volunteers
• Word Of Mouth
• Letters Of Request By Email To The BHBC Yellow Pages
