This ministry provides the first personal touch from our church to the person or family who has visited Burnt Hickory. If you love to bake, this is the ministry for you! We need people to bake “goodies.”

Would you like to experience a great time of worship, spiritual enrichment and fellowship with old and new friends in an intimate setting? By using the talents and gifts of our very own Burnt Hickory women, Coffee Connections is like a mini Ladies’ Night Out.

Connect 2 volunteers are responsible for contacting new ladies two or three months after they have joined BHBC to ensure that they have found a place to connect.

Volunteers send personal notes to new women members welcoming them to church and inviting them to scheduled women's activities.

This fun-loving group helps host and provides sweet treats for our Coffee Connections. They also assist in facilitating set up for Special Events.

Volunteers visit members of Burnt Hickory (men, women, and children) who are admitted into hospitals in the surrounding area. The schedule is set up on a rotating basis. This is a great opportunity for you to encourage, uplift and minister to those who are a part of our church family.

Our purpose is to provide Christian nurturing to the community through spiritual and physical conditioning.

This ministry provides women at Burnt Hickory the opportunity to experience a one-on-one mentoring relationship. We pair up mentors with mentees for a 3 month period.

Volunteers of this committee visit new women members of BHBC to present them with a gift bag and to share information about the Women's Ministry. This is a wonderful opportunity to help new women feel connected and to make new friends in Christ.
